Amtgard is a Live-Action Role-Play, non-profit organization. Originally created in Texas in 1983, Amtgard has become an international phenomenon 40 years later. There is a ruleset currently in place for safety precautions, as this is a full contact sport, and every week you visit a park and sign in, you receive a credit to level up in your chosen class, such as Warrior, Paladin, Monk, Druid, Wizard, and more!

There’s more to Amtgard than just foam swords and fighting. There are countless experts in blacksmithing, sewing, cooking, brewing, performance, wood-working, and more to recreate the atmosphere of the medieval and fantasy genre.
